Gmail on desktop
Rich signatures are configured in the General settings tab. Set defaults for new messages and replies before saving changes.
Gmail mobile
The app uses a separate mobile signature and may not reproduce the desktop HTML layout. Configure and test it independently.
Google Workspace
Your administrator may control profile details or organization-wide footer rules. Personal signature settings can still vary by account policy.
Create your signature

Open Gmail settings
In Gmail, click the gear icon (⚙️) in the top right corner, then click "See all settings". Navigate to the "General" tab.
Find the Signature section
Scroll down to the "Signature" section. Click "+ Create new" to add a new signature, and give it a name like "Work" or "Professional".
Paste your signature
Click inside the signature text box and press Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac) to paste the signature you copied from our generator. Your formatting, colors, and layout will be preserved.
Set as default
Below the signature editor, under "Signature defaults", select your new signature for both "For new emails use" and "On reply/forward use". Scroll to the bottom and click "Save Changes".

Can I add an image or logo to my Gmail signature? +
